Detroit Cobras
The Runnies
Ramma Lamma
Combining girl-group hooks and harmonies with high-octane, Motor City garage rock, the DETROIT COBRAS conjure the 1960s era of Top 40 AM radio and vinyl 45s. Lead belter RACHEL NAGY has attitude to burn and the band delivers dirty, punk garage chords with such ferocity the COBRAS have been called "the ultimate rock & soul party band," by LA Weekly and SPIN has proclaimed "you should hope and pray that they play your party." Local fuzz-rockers THE RUNNIES return to our stage with their psychedelic brand of garage rock. Their quick-hitting songs are filled to the brim with hooks and catchy choruses and they'll surely have the kids pogoing to the organ-driven howlers. Straight out of Milwaukee and bringing their version of glam rock with a DAVE CLARK 5 beat to our stage, RAMMA LAMMA are the new project from 2/3s of PLEXI 3. They've got a single out now via FDH Records and they're headed up I-94 to open tonight's female-fronted garage rock showdown.
